PORTER LEADS 37 AHA ALL-ACADEMICS

Former Stouffville Spirit Chris Porter, now with the American International College (AIC) Yellow Jackets, was named an Atlantic Hockey Student Athlete of the Year and leads 37 former OJHL players that were named to the All-Academic Team.

Jake Walman of the Toronto Jr. Canadiens headlines a list of 84 current and former OJHL players that are attending NHL Development (Rookie) Camps this July across North America.

Former Oakville Blades defenceman Kyle Jenkins, now with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 7th round, 187th overall, of the 2014 NHL Draft.
